#1 - Wu Zun/吳尊
Sorry this entry is so late - I usually write them up the night before and post them shortly after midnight on the day they're supposed to fall on. I was too tired last night and too busy today, so hopefully I'll get it done before midnight here.

"But Bek, you have no life!" I hear you saying in response to my claim of 'being busy'. And yeah, okay, you got me, but I watched a few more episodes of Meteor Garden (am now up to episode 17, y halo thar angst) and then went and saw Australia. The movie, not the country, because technically I could just walk outside and be all, "Oh, Australia, aren't you lovely?" etc etc. I might do up a post for it later but in short, I really enjoyed it, even if it was a tad predictable and just a bit too long.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand - here we are at the end of Hovember! I hope you've enjoyed this journey of beautiful Asian manflesh as much as I have. I've made some new friends and reconnected with (and possibly alienated!) some old ones, and it's been a fabulous twenty days. Thanks for everyone's comments and participation - it wouldn't have been half as much fun without your support. LOVE FOREVER. ♥

Name: Wu Zun/吳尊. Also known as Wu Chun, a spelling I actually prefer, but apparently the recognised pinyin is 'Zun'. Which is okay because then I can call him Zun Zun.
Real name: Goh Kiat Chun/吳吉尊.
Age: 29. Second-oldest on the list, beaten only by Tomoya. GOOD WORK!
Nationality: Bruneian, but based in Taiwan. Incidentally he went to uni in Melbourne, so he has a bit of an Australian flavour.
Distinct features: I was trying to think of a way to describe him and the only word that came to mind was dewy. He's honestly dewy; he has these dewy, gentle doe-eyes and such a pretty, soft-looking face and a hesitant, kind-looking smile and I just want to hug him forever and not let go. He'd look like a teddy bear if he wasn't over six-foot and seriously built. Also he has a very sticky-outey Adam's apple and some ugly tattoos, but we won't talk about them.
Skills: Capturing the hearts of millions of Taiwanese people without being able to speak proper Mandarin. Being enormous and yet looking like a delicate flower. Building a successful modelling career despite only being able to make his face do two expressions (surprised! and curious!, if you were wondering). Enjoying food more than anyone else in the world.
What you might have seen him in: 'Singing' in the somewhat popular boyband, Fahrenheit (remember #18? He's in it too). Most recently as a basketball-playing stalker in Hot Shot who is also able to do kickass, gravity-defying martial arts.
What you should actually see him in: The Taiwanese version of Hana Kimi, in which he played Quan, the Sano-equivalent. Unlike some people who shall not be named *coughOguriShuncough*, Zun Zun actually read the manga and portrayed Sano the way he was meant to be: kind, considerate, and very much in love with Mizuki/Rui Xi. I know a lot of people don't like the overacting/casting/other stuff in the TW-Hana Kimi, and to be honest, it took me two tries to actually watch it. The only thing that brought me back for the rewatch was Wu Zun, who had struck me with his good looks and suitability for the role. I'm glad I gave it another go because it remains one of my favourite Taiwanese series and stayed considerably more true to the manga than the Japanese version did.
Why he's on my list: Okay, okay, he has two expressions, but they're both adorable, and I could be way off base here, but he just seems so geniunely nice. I know that you can't really judge actors by their roles but to be honest he's not a very good actor, and it just felt like the niceness he had as Quan was very real and true. I'm a sucker for good people, and it's nice to prove the adage wrong - nice guys don't always finish last.


Why he's number one: Ever since watching Hana Kimi, Wu Zun has been my benchmark for beauty, and whenever Molly tells me someone is good-looking I demand, "BETTER THAN QUAAAAAAAAAN?" and her usual (reluctant) answer is, "...no." He may not do anything for anyone else, but every time I see a picture of him I just want to pat his head, stroke his cheek, and gaze into his dewy, dewy eyes. Because he looks like this.




Just to reiterate before we go any further: DEWY.






Anyway, I think it would be pretty redundant of me to say that he's handsome.






So I won't.

He really has that fresh-faced, stunningly-attractive-boy-next-door-who-won't-leave-home-without-his-manbag thing going for him.






Which definitely isn't a bad thing. Unlike this shirt.






And talking of fashion, his taste doesn't seem to be as bad as most of the other Hovember boys.

Zun Zun looks gorgeous in this and I love all the white outfits and backgrounds and the bit where Ella is in a black dress and rawr.





The second link is a random Fahrenheit song, I think it was the opening for The X-Family? I'm not sure, I haven't seen it or KO One so I can't comment. Anyway this one involves all the boys in black leather...and I forgot what I was going to say. Zun Zun actually sings for once and there's lots of closeups of his dewy beautiful face.
